August 17, 2005:
17 Days until the reunion! Hopefully everyone is getting out their yearbooks to look at faces and try to remember names (Don't worry! We'll have name tags there!) Please log on to our site at http://paysonhsclassof95reunion.blogspot.com/ to see the new updates and changes. Especially if you are getting this email for the first time, as it contains all past emails we have sent.
Check out our stories and articles about the reunion in the Payson Chronicle, the Daily Herald, and the Deseret News. There is also a story about our own Josh Wright. He has become personal friends with our Commander in Chief; George W. Bush. Way to represent Payson Josh! Here is the link to the article that appeared in the Daily Herald.

August 4, 2005:
Hello classmates! The questions are coming in…so we thought we'd answer as many things as we could. Below is an FAQ list. Keep sending us the names and information on classmates! It's been extremely helpful. Help us spread the word. We hope to see you all in 30 days from now!
Q: Is there a website with details?
A: http://paysonhsclassof95reunion.blogspot.com/. Check back often!
There is also a Biography that we'd like everyone to fill out which is listed on this site. Please email it to us as soon as you can, or mail it to us when you send your check if you'd rather. If you have problems with it, please let us know. You can print it out, or copy and paste it into an email; whatever you prefer.
Q: Why are we having the reunion at the Staheli's house and who are they?
A: Max and Reeta Staheli live on Goosenest Road on your way up to Elk Ridge, and they are friends of our class presidency. They have hosted many weddings and events there. It is beautiful and there will be plenty of room for our crowd.
Q: Why aren't we meeting at Payson High School?
A: Bad memories. No really...Having class reunions on Labor Day weekend has been a tradition for many graduating classes because of Payson Onion Days. We were competing with another class for usage of the high school and lost out! There is also a Payson Community Theatre play at PHS during Onion Days as well, which contributes to the difficulty of reserving the high school. It is therefore hard, with all of the festivities going on that weekend in Payson, to find places for large crowds. We feel like we are getting a beautiful place for our event after all. It has worked out nicely. Please go see PHS while you're in town though!
Q: Is there a weekend full of events or any other activities planned?
A: Our understaffed volunteers have only planned for one evening. If anyone is willing to host or head up a day activity with children included, a day-before-BBQ, or anything else for the entire group, we'd be happy to email the specifics out to the group. Just let us know if you want to be in charge of something. Otherwise we've just planned one night of fun.
Q: Dress and children.
A: The dress will be casual. We have not planned an evening for children so please leave your children at home (hopefully attended!) This event will be for the adults of the 1995 graduating class and their guest. Of course if you have an infant we would not want you to stay home and miss the event, you could bring a newborn if you needed to.
Q: Are we going to keep your information private?
A: We are logging your contact information only for the use of the reunion planning committee and future planning committees.
Q: What will the charge be for the evening?
A: $20 per person or $35 per couple if paid in advance by August 20.
$25 per person or $40 per couple if paid at the door that evening.
Because we have to pay for many expenses including catering, which is a major expense; we are charging a fee to cover all these costs.
Please pay in advance! It will save you money, and help us get an accurate count for the evening. Thanks!
Q: Where/how do we pay in advance?
A: We have setup a separate bank account that deposits will be made into for the reunion. You may write a check and mail it to Sharolyn Gabbitas for proper depositing and handling (no cash please). Please make the check out To: "Sharolyn Gabbitas." Below that write For: "PHS Reunion." The check must be made out to Sharolyn's name in order for her to deposit it. There are also 3 people you can contact by phone with questions or just email us! We will be keeping a running list of people who have RSVP'd and paid. If you'd like confirmation we've received your check, just email phsclassof1995@gmail.com and state your name, and when it was sent. Thanks!
